CROMSHADE is a line of highly concentrated pigment preparations VOC and APEO free, for colouring a wide range of water based paints and coatings.
It is an environmentally friendly pigment paste, binder free, based on an innovative and patented polymeric wetting and dispersing system.

CROMSHADE is divided in 4 different lines according to the nature and outstanding fastness of pigments : there are therefore colouring pastes suitable only for interiors, other specifically developed for facade tinting, other based on high performance organic pigments.There is even the special line CROMSHADE TOYS in compliance with DIN 71/3-7-9 (Safety of Toys) Click!.

The colouring pastes of this line are based mainly on High Performance organic pigments. HP pigments are organic pigments characterized by a good light and weathering resistance and are therefore suitable for exterior application.
Pigment preparations based on HP pigment allow to obtain very brilliant and deep colours.
Nowadays' fashion seems to move into this direction in all fields and also on exterior paints and coating.

Tinting of facade paints, special requirements are necessary: Excellent weathering fastness; Resistance in high alkaline conditions; Good performances especially if used for pastel shades.
CROMSHADE INORGANIC - FACADE is a selection of coloring pastes based only on inorganic pigments and developed with particular patented wetting and dispersing agents pH independent.
Pigment preparations formulated with a pH independent agent ensures a wide compatibility towards most common architectural coatings used for masonry including: lime based coatings, silicone emulsions paints, silicate dispersions or acrylic plasters.
Most of the coloring pastes of this line are formulated with special, highly micronized iron oxides. Also thanks to the very fine milling (< 3-5 microns) and some inorganic blend pigment preparation, we can guarantees bright and brilliant colours also in this application.

Pigment preparation CROMSHADE ORGANIC are based on the most widely used organic pigments. These pastes are suitable only on interior application and can be mixed with any kind of water based paint and coatings including lime based products such as stucco, marmorino, etc.
Thanks to their good stock stability and strict quality control batch after batch these pigment pastes are reliable partners for tinting interior application mediums.

On top of traditional organic pigments always part of CROMSHADE INTERIOR we have two Ultramarine Blue.
This pigment preparation occupies a unique position in the blue colour space that can't be reached by any other pigment or blend of pigments. The reddish undertone of Ultramarine Blue, highly appreciated both in mass tone and tint applications, making the pigment clearly differentiated from any Blue Phthalocyanine and any Cobalt Blue.
